Who Is Toyin Abraham?

Toyin Abraham is a famous Nollywood Actress and film director.  She was born on September 5, 1982 in Auchi of Edo State, Nigeria.

Toyin attended Secondary Education at St Annes School in Ibadan, Nigeria, where she later further into Osun State Polytechnic, Irere. And graduated with a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Marketing from Ibadan Polytechnic.

Acting Career

When Nigerian actress Bukky Wright arrived at Ibadan to film a movie in 2003, Abraham began her acting career. Abraham has appeared in various Nigerian films, notably Alani Baba Labake and Ebimi ni, which he produced, directed, and featured in. 

Toyin Abraham was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Yoruba film titled Ebimi ni at 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards, alongside Joke Muyiwa, who was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Yoruba film titled Ayitale.  In addition, Abraham starred in the film Black Val. 

Toyin Aimakhu’s reality show, Keeping Up With Toyin Aimakhu, was conceived and directed by Martini Animashaun, the CEO of Tinimash Entertainment.

Toyin was named the ambassador for Revolution Plus Properties, a Lagos-based real estate firm, in the year 2020. 

In February 2022, Abraham was also appointed as the brand ambassador for Checkers Custard Nigeria. 

Toyin has also directed and produced several films, including Fate of Alakada, a notable Nollywood film.
