RMD attended Anglican Grammar School and Midwest College in Warri, where he actively participated in the Drama Club. To further his education, he enrolled at the University of Benin, where he studied Theatre Arts. Later, in 1997, he returned to the University of Lagos to pursue a legal education, successfully earning his law degree in 2004.
Richard Mofe-Damijo Acting Career:
Following his graduation, RMD began his acting journey by appearing in the soap opera “Ripples.” However, he gained widespread recognition for his role as the villainous Segun Kadiri in the popular drama series “Checkmate.” Before his acting career took off, he worked as a writer for publications such as Quality, Metro Magazine, and Concord Newspapers. RMD also received acclaim for his performance in the movie “Out of Bounds,” where he served as a writer and producer.
