His pursuit of legal knowledge led him to earn a law degree (LLB) from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, in Ile Ife, Osun State. After his studies, he was admitted to the Nigerian bar.

Career Path:

Upon joining the legal profession, Justice Ariwoola commenced his journey at the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a Solicitor and Advocate in July 1981. He embarked on his career as a State Counsel at the Ministry of Justice in Akure, Ondo State, and later served as a Legal Officer in the Ministry of Justice in Oyo State. In August 1989, he established his legal practice, Olukayode Ariwoola & Co., before becoming a Judge of the Oyo State Judiciary in November 1992.

Ariwoola’s dedication extended to his roles as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Phonex Motors Ltd. and as Chairman of the Armed Robbery Tribunal, Oyo State. He also presided over the Kaduna, Enugu, and Lagos Divisions of the Court of Appeals before being appointed to the Supreme Court.
