In August 1989, he established his legal practice, Olukayode Ariwoola & Co., before becoming a Judge of the Oyo State Judiciary in November 1992.

Ariwoola’s dedication extended to his roles as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Phonex Motors Ltd. and as Chairman of the Armed Robbery Tribunal, Oyo State. He also presided over the Kaduna, Enugu, and Lagos Divisions of the Court of Appeals before being appointed to the Supreme Court.
