About Henry Moore Sr.
Henry Paul Moore, Sr., 90, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at his residence.
He was born February 26, 1932, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Barney Sylvester Moore and Ida Marie Wise Moore.
Henry was a member of South Gastonia Church of God, Gastonia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Lucille Dowell Moore; son, Henry Paul Moore, Jr.; brothers, Jim Moore, and Roy Moore; and sisters, Nita Wood, Audrey Beaver, Bernice Posey, and Blanche Baucom.
Henry is survived by his sons, Don Moore and wife, Gina, George Cathey and wife, Sandra, and Tim Moore and wife, Heather; daughters, Pat Moore Matthews and husband, Gary, Brenda Moore Duckworth and husband, Arthur, Deion Moore Martin and husband, Jon, and Stephanie Moore Beavers and husband, Randy; sister, Faris Costner; grandchildren, Dana, Jessie, Ricky, James, Jeremy, Josh, Zéna, Christen, Timmy, Tyler, Cody, Will, Claire, Katelyn, Noah, Christian, Zeke, Lucas, Alexis, and Emilee; and many great-grandchildren.
Henry Moore Sr Funeral
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Bobby Gilley, Rev. Chris Peek, and Rev. Sam Barnette, will be held 11am on Saturday, at the church.
Burial will be held at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
