Education
Funsho Adeolu attended The Baptist Academy which he went further into the Ondo State University for his tertiary Education, where he studied Guidance and Counseling and graduated with a first degree.
Acting Career
Funsho Adeolu began his acting career in 1987 in Festac Town, Lagos State of Nigeria with Antar Laniyan.
He was also in Countdown at Kusini, a film featuring his father’s name (Oba Funsho Adeolu, the Alaaye of Ode Remo and actor in the old Nigerian Sitcom The Village Headmaster) alongside another Nigerian actor Ibidun Allison Amebo of The Village Headmaster.
He is credited in Heroes and Zeroes, a 2012 Nigerian drama film. He made his screen debut in 2013 in a leading role as Michael Oga Okonkwo on MTV Shuga: Down South, an adaptation of its sister show Shuga: Love, Sex and Secrets.
His character is also featured on MTV Shuga season 2 as well as having roles on other television series including Tinsel and Tidy Ends. Funsho is not only an Actor but also a businessman.
Achievements
Yoruba actor, Adeolu, was nominated for Best Actor in a Lead Role at the Best of Nollywood Awards. He is also a nominee for best lead actor award (BON) 2015 and he won best lead role award (BON) 2014.
Funsho has appeared in over 25 movies including The Wedding Party 2 and The Wedding Party 3 which he produced with his business partner, Emem Isong.
