DSS flies actor Chiwetalu Agu to Abuja, bars family visitation

The Department of State Services has reportedly to have flown veteran Nollywood actor, “Chiwetalu Agu”, to Abuja regarding the ongoing investigations, for promoting, campaigning Biafra and allegedly inciting members of the public

On october 7, The veteran Nollywood actor was arrested, by the Nigerian army, around upper iweka area of Onitsha, Anambra state, for putting on Biafra outfit, while sharing bread and other giveawat items to the less privilege.

However, On his arrest, the Nigerian Army had charged the veteran Nollywood actor of soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, whom they have been allegedly accused of countless terrorism acts.

While spending days in the Nigerian Army detention, he was reportedly handed over to the Department of state services (DSS) for further investigation and prosecution.

According to reports gathered; the relative of the veteran actor hjad been denied access to him, as his case grows tougher, the actor was first transferred from Anambra to Enugu and then to Abuja.

All attempts to see the actor, was reportedly blocked by the DSS.

“We spent two days trying to ascertain his whereabouts. We were later informed that he was moved to Enugu and then Abuja.

“We heard that the idea is to move him away from the South-East. We have made efforts to see him, but the DSS has not granted us access. Even the lawyers have not been allowed to reach him,”

His relative said.
