2Baba Early Life and Education:
2Baba was born in Jos, Plateau State, but his roots trace back to the Idoma ethnic group in Benue State, Nigeria. He attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State, and later enrolled at the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT) in Enugu. There, he pursued a preliminary National Diploma course in Business Administration and Management. During his time at IMT, 2Baba started performing at school events and parties, showcasing his musical talent to the world.
2Baba Career:
The journey to stardom began when 2Baba relocated to Lagos, where he collaborated with fellow Benue artist Blackface Naija. Together with another artist, Faze, they formed the iconic trio band Plantashun Boiz. Under Nelson Brown’s label (Dove Records), the band released two successful albums, “Body and Soul” (2000) and “Sold Out” (2003). Despite some internal conflicts, the band reunited in 2007 to create their third and final studio album, “Plan B.”
