Top Nigerians Politicians Were Present At The Olubadan’s Coronation
At the old Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun is being crowned as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Governor Seyi Makinde, who will formally hand over the instruments of the office to the new monarch, is also seated at the coronation location.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, are among the guests attending.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is in attendance, as are Ondo State Deputy Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa and Osun State Deputy Governor Benedict Alabi.
Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo; Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife; Oba Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugbo; and Oba Francis Alao, the Olugbon of oarile Igbo, are also there.
