suspected yahoo boys Killed in an auto crash

Six people believed to be online scammers, commonly known as ‘Yahoo guys,’ have perished in a car accident in Delta State.

According to reports .A truck crashed with a Mercedes Benz automobile at Akala park on the Ogwashi Uku-Kwale motorway in the state on Tuesday,

The event, which included some women heading to the market, happened at 4 a.m., according to a witness.

“It was young boys and young girls that were in the new Mercedes Benz car, they were between 25 and 20 years old. We suspected them to be those yahoo boys.

“The victims have been deposited at the General Hospital in Ogwashi Uku, headquarters of Aniocha South Local Government Area of the state,” the witness said.

Mr Ibrahim Abubakar, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, verified the event when contacted.

Acording to him;

“The victims were three adult males and three females. the two vehicles scattered in pieces and it was difficult identifying the victims as a result of the impact of the collision.

“We couldn’t find the registration numbers of the two vehicles, either people took them away or because of the impact of the clash; we couldn’t just locate them.

“Two of the victims were trapped under the truck and it took our men hectic time to push out the truck before we could bring them out dead.”
