
Super Eagles Loses Formal Star
Justice Christopher, a former Super Eagles player, has died.
Andrew Randa, a veteran journalist, announced his death on social media, Christopher died in the early hours of Wednesday morning at his resort in Jos, according to reports.
The reason behind for the 40-year-old has not been revealed, Christopher debuted with the Super Eagles in 2001 and proceeded to make 11 matches for the team.
He was a member of the Nigerian team that competed in the World Cup in Korea/Japan in 2002. He started his career at Katsina United in 1999.
Before retiring from football at the end of the 2006/2007 season, he appeared for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria, Trelleborgs FF in Sweden, Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia, and Herflge BK in Denmark.
In October 2012, he rejoined to Nassarawa United and struck a deal with the club.
Till his demise, he was a member of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
