Super Eagles Leaves Nigeria For Ghana, Ahead Of The World Cup qualifier
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have left the Federal Capital Territory for Ghana, where they will face the Black Stars in a World Cup qualifier.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) stated on Thursday that the Super Eagles will arrive in Kumasi, the match’s location.
The men’s football squad will return aboard the same chartered airplane following their match, according to NFF.
Mohammed Sanusi, the NFF Secretary-General, stated that Nigeria’s Super Eagles will do all possible to qualify for the World Cup.
The first leg of the match will take place on Friday in Kumasi, Ghana, with the return game taking place on Tuesday in Abuja.
Sanusi said:
“I want to assure that the NFF is putting all arrangements in place to motivate and incentivize the players and officials for the two big matches.
“We have concluded most of the arrangements and expect no glitch anywhere. We are also ready to deal with eventualities as they arise because these are matches that we must win.”
The Super Eagles’ players and officials will be sleeping at the Golden Tulip hotel facility in Kumasi for the encounter, according to the NFF.
The game will be place at Kumasi’s Baba Yara Stadium.
