Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Nation activist, was released to Prof. Banji Akintoye by the Benin Republic Government on Monday.
Maxwell Adeleye, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide’s Communications Secretary, revealed this in a statement
Yomi Aliyu, SAN, the activist’s lawyer, said in a statement that Igboho was released to attend to his health at a Beninese hospital.
The Benin Republic Government reportedly cautioned Igboho not to leave Benin after his release from jail.
Photos of Igboho with famous historian and Leader of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Akintoye, and Professor Malik Falola have surfaced following the release of the Yoruba Nation agitator.
