Rochas Okorocha, born on September 22, 1962, is a well-known Nigerian politician and philanthropist from Imo State. He has served as the Governor of Imo State and currently represents Imo West senatorial district in the National Assembly. Besides his political career, Okorocha is also the founder and CEO of Rochas Group of Companies Limited. Additionally, he is actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors, most notably through his charity organization, the Rochas Foundation.

Rochas Okorocha was born in Ogboko, Ideato South, Imo State. His father hailed from Imo State, while his mother came from Anambra State. He identifies more with his Anambra heritage, which has influenced his personality and actions. He attended Juladaco High School in Jos, Nigeria, from 1976 to 1981. Later, he pursued a diploma in Public Administration at the University of Jos from 1990 to 1991. He returned to the same university to obtain an advanced diploma in public administration in 1993-1994.

Throughout his career, Okorocha has held various significant positions.
