Police Apprehends Military Men For Robbing A POS Operator

Two soldiers and three people have been detained for armed robbery and culpable homicide by the Borno state police command.

according to Abdu Umar, the borno state Commissioner of Police, The two suspects robbed a Point of Sale (POS) agent, “Yusuf Usman”,

Umar, speaking in Maiduguri on Wednesday, claimed the crew shot and murdered one guy and injured another during the heist on February 6 at GSM Market in Bulumkutu.

Three of the suspects – Mustapha Lawan, alias Bakura Dantawaye, Abubakar Mohammed, nicknamed Bro Shagi, and Umar Ibrahim – were first apprehended by agents of the Command, according to him.

He claimed that three suspects confessed to the crime and and also mentioned two more gang members, soldiers lgogo Michael and Jibrin Adamu, as accomplices.

On Sunday, March 13, agents tracked down and detained the two army officers, who also confessed to the crime, according to the Commissioner.
