[Photos] Sanwo-Olu Presents Tinubu With His Governorship Nomination Forms

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has received the gubernatorial nomination and expression of interest papers from Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

On Saturday morning, the Governor made the announcement on Twitter, along with a photo of Tinubu standing with his own presidential nomination paperwork.

According to Naija News, both politicians are running for the Lagos gubernatorial and presidential tickets of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections.

According to Sanwo-Olu, the incident heralds a new era in Lagos’ and Nigeria’s political landscapes.

“I presented the nomination and expression of interest forms to our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The presentation of these forms signifies the beginning of a historical journey, and the birth of a new dawn in the political landscape of our dear state and country Nigeria.

“With the best of intentions, and a conscientious heart, we say thank you to the leadership and members of our party, The All Progressives Congress (APC), the good people of Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole,” he wrote.
