On March 14, 1975, MC Oluomo was born to his parents, Baba Akinsanya and Zinat Abebi Alhaja. In Oshodi, Lagos, he was born into a huge polygamous household. His late parents gave him the name Ayinde Musilu Akinsanya, which he subsequently changed to Oluomo.
