Kalu Praises Buhari For Resolving APC Crisis
Orji Uzor Kalu, the member representing Abia North Senatorial District, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for intervening in the APC’s internal conflict.
This was mentioned in a statement made accessible to journalists in Abuja on Saturday by the Senate Chief Whip.
President Buhari, according to Kalu, took the lead in restoring peace in order to secure a calm and successful national convention.
The former Governor said,
“I want to sincerely commend President Muhammadu Buhari for his quick and timely intervention in resolving the crises that rocked our great party.
“His intervention by inviting the various caucuses, stakeholders, and leaders has brought in calm and unassuming peace which has rescued our party from disharmony.”
During his speech at the party’s convention, Kalu said that no stone should be left unturned in giving relief to Nigerians via the APC.
The politician urged members of the governing party to stay dedicated to the party’s principles in order for the party’s leadership to fulfill its mission.
“Members of the party should demonstrate the spirit of love, peace, and harmony as demonstrated by the president by embracing unity to help our party succeed in the 2023 general elections.
“APC is one family and the president has done exceptionally well by meeting with the relevant stakeholders to resolve some of the crisis rocking the party,” Kalu said.
He pleaded with President Buhari to assist the party in resolving the conflict that has engulfed various state chapters, including Kano, Oyo, Osun, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Kwara.
