JAMB discloses additional USSD CODE WhatsApp as support and complaint platform

In addition to the 55019 number that has been in use since 2018, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved 66019 as an additional and optional USSD code for UTME/DE registration and other critical services supplied by the Board.

This is to ensure that the 2022 UTME/DE registration process runs well by guaranteeing that applicants have no problem creating profiles, particularly in a circumstance when several of them would be making their requests using a single USSD number, as has been the case before.

In essence, applicants taking the 2022/23 UTME/DE should utilize the 55019 and 66019 to construct their profiles for registration. Candidates must transmit their National Identification Number (NIN) to one of these USSD numbers in order for their information to be obtained from the NIMC database before proceeding to any certified center for biometric capture.

Have you installed the JAMB CBT software and downloaded the JAMB CBT app? Now is the optimum time to begin your planning. Download these immediately if you haven’t already.

The usage of WhatsApp as an additional assistance and complaint tool has also been adopted by JAMB. Candidates and other stakeholders would benefit from quick communications and responses to any questions they may have about the Board’s operating operations with this additional platform.

To that aim, ASD Technologies, the WhatsApp solution’s creator, said that the platform will assist with things like “step-by-step” registration procedures and offering a feedback system for optimal service delivery.

The platform is intended to supplement rather than replace the current ticketing system, allowing for more access to key services, among other things.
