JAMB adjusts 2022 exam dates to provide additional code for profile creation

The previously declared date for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam has been changed by JAMB (UTME). According to the board, the 2022 test, which was originally slated to take place between April 20th and 30th, will now take place from Friday, May 6th to Monday, May 16th, 2022.

This information was included in the JAMB weekly newsletter. The board noted that the modification is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Similarly, the board said that the Mock-UTME exercise, which was previously set for April 2nd, 2022, would now take place on April 16th, 2022, for candidates who register early and declare their readiness to take the Mock-UTME.

This is not a chance for all potential candidates for the 2022 UTME to take a break from their preparation. Now is the optimum time to begin your planning. Download the JAMB CBT Mobile app and JAMB CBT software today if you haven’t already. The app will also get you fast updates whenever JAMB issues a critical update.

The date for the sale of the 2022 UTME/DE application document, which was set to begin on the 12th of February and end on the 19th of March 2022, has not changed.

JAMB also revealed that, in addition to the current 55019 number, a new USSD code would be made available that will allow applicants to access some of the JAMB services, such as the development of a profile code for UTME/DE registration. This was important to avoid congestion during registration, when a large number of applicants would be submitting requests for profile code generation.
