I Have Learnt Lot From Mark, Saraki – Lawan
Former Senate Presidents David Mark and Bukola Saraki have been praised by Senate President Ahmad Lawan for their contributions to the development of the National Assembly.
Lawan noted out that the present National Assembly benefits from the two past Senate Presidents’ leadership talents and the foundation they created while in office.
According to Naija02, the present Senate President made the remark about his predecessors on Saturday in Lagos State, after obtaining the Sun newspaper’s “Political Icon of the Year 2021” award.
Senators David Mark and Bukola Saraki, who held the office in previous years, lay the groundwork for the ninth National Assembly, according to him.
Lawan moved further to present the honor to former National Assembly presiding officers.
