On “Peru,” Nigerian artist Fireboy DML collaborates with British singer Ed Sheeran.
Ed Sheeran and Nigerian singer-songwriter Fireboy DML have cooperated on a remix of the latter’s blockbuster song, “Peru,” in which Sheeran sings in the Niger-Congo language Yorùbá.
“I’m infatuated with it,” Sheeran said of the next song, which he described as “an earworm.” I mean, as Cherry [Sheeran’s wife] knows, I’ve had this song on repeat in the home for the past week.”
