
Dismissal Of Fani-Kayode, Others By Governor Sani-Bello Remains Valid – Mai Mala Buni
All decisions performed by Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello remain legal, according to Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).
Buni stated in a statement to reporters on Thursday that he formally turned over to Sani-Bello before his travel, making the interim chairman’s actions lawful.
Reports claiming he reserved Governor Bello’s choices were false, he said.

Buni was said to have discarded the national convention sub-committee previously endorsed by his Niger State counterpart, Sani Bello.
According to the source, the Yobe Governor also returned to his initial list after removing officials of the caretaker committee from the national convention’s Central Coordinating sub-committee.
Buni and the committee’s National Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, were named Chairman and Secretary of the sub-committee, according to the statement.
He reinstated Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwoolu as Chairman and Femi Fani-Kayode as Deputy Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-committee.
Buni also replaced Kano state Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje as Chairman of the Protocol sub-committee with Kogi state Governor.
