Buhari mourns Tafidan Kazaure Adamu
With deep condolences to the Kazaure Emirate Council in Jigawa State, as well as the Adamu family, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), expressed his condolences on Monday in Abuja, after Tafidan Kazaure Ilyasu Adamu, the Tafidan of Jigawa State, passed away.
This is stated in a statement issued on Monday by Garba Shehu, Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, which is captioned ‘President Buhari mourns Tafidan Kazaure and Ilyasu Adamu. President Buhari expresses his regret to their families.’
According to Shehu:
“The President joins them in praying for the repose of the soul of the departed community leader and retired Deputy Director, Social Services, in the Ministry Health and Social Development, Jigawa State.
‘‘The humanitarian initiatives of the late Tafidan Kazaure greatly endeared him to the people and his wise and godly counsel will be greatly missed by those who came in direct contact with him in Jigawa State and beyond.”
‘‘May Allah grants him Jannatul Firdaus,’’ said the President.
