Buhari Endorses Plan To End Fuel Scarcity
Muhammadu Buhari, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is said to have put measures in action to address the country’s petroleum shortages.
According to The Guardian, an official who revealed the plan on Sunday in Abuja said that it would avert any kind of gasoline shortage in the country.
He said that the strategy would ensure that in a couple of days, every state in the country would have restored to normality or a very low line condition at gas stations.
The concept was also submitted to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) last week, according to the source, before Buhari departed the nation for his healthcare vacation.
He said:
“The plan is designed to do everything necessary to end the scarcity quickly and hold those responsible for it in the first instance responsible so as to avoid a repeat.”
The authorized plan, according to the source, also keeps the high outflow rate, which is the entire quantity of stock given, until the distribution situation is stabilized.
