Samuel Animashaun Perry (born in 6 July 1993), known by his stage name Broda Shaggi, is a Nigerian Comedian, Actor, songwriter, and Musician. Born in Ishagamu in Ogun State, and he is also from Ikene in Ogun State.
From a young age, he showed an interest in acting drama influenced by his late father who was a drama teacher. One of his notable pieces of work is his popular Mushin[citation needed] parody drama Jesu.

Broda Shaggi graduated from the Creative Arts department at the University of Lagos and his father was a Drama instructor at the Junior School in Ikenne, Ogun state. He began acting as a child alongside his sister Funmi Shaggi who is also an actress.
He has featured in several movies including Omo Aje, Egbe Mi O, Alagbara, Sango and more. He has won several awards including Best Actor for Ajani Ogun at The African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 2011 and Best Supporting Actor for Sango at AMAA 2013 among others.

Broda Shaggi started performing in comedy acts a few years ago while he was still in school. In the process of learning the trade, he tried different comedic character’s names.
