Atiku Lists Five States Where APC Rigged In 2019 Election

Former Vice President and presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has highlighted five states where the All Progressives Congress, APC, stole his votes in the 2019 elections.

The Adamawa State-born politician ran for the highest political office in 2019 under the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) platform, according to Naija02.

President Muhammadu Buhari of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated the major opposition party’s presidential candidate.

During his recent visit to Katsina State, Atiku claimed that the APC stole his election results in Katsina and four other states in the 2019 presidential election.

He encouraged them to avoid repeating the mistake in 2023.

Atiku said that the APC falsified election results in four more states, including Kano, Kaduna, Borno, and Yobe.

“So, I am thanking the people of Katsina State for supporting PDP and I hope this time around you will not allow them to steal your vote,” the presidential hopeful begged.

He added:

My brothers and sisters from katsina, first and foremost, you are the people who initiated me into politics. Secondly, you are the people that trained me in politics and most importantly, I would not have been what I am today without the support of the Katsina people.

“That’s why I want to ask you that is it this time now that you want to throw me away?”

Atiku vowed to unite Nigerians, restore security, law and order, and ensure that every person has a sense of belonging, according to his manifestos.

Atiku also pledged to restructure the economy and address issues in the Nigerian educational system, accusing Buhari’s administration of being oblivious to university closures around the nation.
