Adidas Terminates Partnership Deal With Russian Football Union
As reported by Reuters, Adidas (ADSGn.DE), a German sportswear brand, has terminated its cooperation with the Russian Football Union (RFU) with immediate effect. A company representative confirmed the decision on Tuesday.
The company’s spokesman, on the other hand, declined to provide any other information.
Following the conflict in Ukraine, a number of sporting organizations have taken the choice to sever connections with Russian-affiliated groups or enterprises. This is the latest in a string of such decisions.
