
A Landlord Son Was Stabbed To Death By A Shoemaker
On Tuesday, an individual named as Sikiru Owolabi allegedly killed Bolanle Adilewa, a 48-year-old man, in the Ijo Mimo neighborhood of Akure, the Ondo State capital.
According to reports, the suspect and the dead had a disagreement that escalated into a fight, leading to the suspect stabbing the deceased to death. The dead was alleged to be the suspect’s landlord’s son.
According to a source, the suspect, who is claimed to be a shoemaker at the deceased’s father’s store, got into a fight with the dead after a heated disagreement.
The source said, ” As they were fighting, the shoemaker took a broken bottle and stabbed him (Adinlewa). He later gave up the ghost on the way to the hospital”
Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event, saying it occurred amid a free for all between the two.
She also stated that, despite the fact that the accused murderer was already in police detention, the case had been moved to the command’s Criminal Investigative Department for additional inquiry.
